Collaborations Poniard Pharmaceuticals is party to a research alliance with The Scripps Research Institute, a non-profit biomedical research organization. This scientific collaborationis focusing on the discovery of novel, small-molecule, multi-targeted, protein kinase inhibitors as therapeutic agents to treat cancer. Under the agreement, Poniard Pharmaceuticals will have the option to negotiate a worldwide exclusive license to any compounds developed through the collaboration.The Scripps Research Institute is one of the world's largest independent, non-profit biomedical research organizations.
